Almost nothing, and none of it is used to identify you.
Who is responsible
Advisa EOOD, Sofia, Bulgaria, UIC 206448172, is the controller for the purposes of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Deyan Paroushev is the responsible person and can be reached at deyan@advisa.tech.
Opening a page
The site is a set of static files served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare records the technical data every web request produces: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the response code, and the browser and operating system your device reports. This happens at the network level and is necessary for the site to reach you at all.
That data is used to serve the pages, to keep the site available, and to defend it against attack. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably. Cloudflare acts as our processor under its published data processing addendum, and processes data in its global network, including in the United States, on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses and the Swiss and EU Data Privacy Frameworks.
We see aggregate traffic figures in our Cloudflare account: request counts, countries, and cached and uncached responses. We do not have access to individual visitor records and we do not attempt to identify anybody from them.
Advisa sets no cookies. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising, no embedded video, no font loaded from a third party, and no tracking of any kind: the site loads six files, all from advisa.tech. If Cloudflare challenges a request it considers suspicious, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that purpose alone. Nothing on this site is used for advertising, analytics or preference tracking.
If we write to you first
We research a small number of companies and write to the person who would own the subject. Where we have not had your details from you, they come from public professional sources: a company website, a public register, a professional networking profile, a conference or association listing, or a referral. We use only what is relevant to a professional role.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in developing relevant business relationships, and you may object at any time. Every letter identifies Advisa, links to this notice, and gives a plain way to say no.
If you object we stop, and we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not write again. We do not add anybody to a mailing list and we send no bulk email.
Writing to us
The email address on this site opens your own mail program. If you write, we process your name, address, company, role and whatever your message contains, in order to read it, answer it and take any step you have asked for before an engagement. The legal basis is the steps you have requested, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence. Mail is handled by Google Workspace and is subject to that service’s own processing.
We do not add anybody to a mailing list and we send no marketing email.
How long we keep it
Website delivery and security data is kept for our provider’s own operational period and no longer than is needed to investigate an incident. Correspondence is kept while the enquiry or relationship is live, and then for the period ordinary business records require. Prospect information is reviewed and deleted when it stops being relevant, and in any case within twelve months of the last meaningful contact if no relationship has begun. An objection to being contacted is kept for as long as it takes to honour it. Contract, invoice and accounting records are kept for the period the law requires.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not profile visitors, build audiences, or share anything with advertisers. We take no decision about anybody by automated means alone, and we run no profiling that produces a legal or similarly significant effect.
Your rights
Under the FADP and the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to deyan@advisa.tech and you will have an answer within thirty days.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority. Advisa is established in Bulgaria, so its lead authority is the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection; if you are elsewhere in the EU you may complain to the authority where you live or work, and in Switzerland to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
